Today our team went up to the tell, and spent the day setting everything up for the real digging that will start tomorrow.
Squares were cleaned, thorns were cleared, tents were put up, tools were organized, and paperwork began on its way.
Afterwards we headed back towards the kibbutz to do pottery reading and later in the afternoon a tour was led by Amit to the nearby, soon to be excavated site of Tel Socho.
All in all, a very successful day. the group of volunteers is great and hopefully, this is the start of a great season ahead!
